Customize CMD prompt

Here are few the commands that you can use to change the look and feel of the command prompt.

Open up a new command prompt and type the below commands,….
C:\ > color 0A
C:\ > title My Own Command Prompt
C:\ > prompt W1nd0w5 T3rm1n4| $$

C:\ > color 0A
The first line color 0A represents the color of the command prompt, where 0 is the background color, which here is Black color, and A represents the Foreground color, which here is the Light green Color. On typing this command you can view the command mode with Black coloured background and light colored tex in the foreground, which gives you a Matrix effect.

C:\ > title My Own Command Prompt
This command is used to set the title of the command prompt, here the title is “My Own Command Prompt “.

C:\ > prompt W1nd0w5 T3rm1n4| $$

This command specifies the prompt of the command prompt, here the prompt is specified as ” W1nd0w5 T3rm1n4| $$” and after typing this command , you can see the prompt as ” My own CMD prompt * ” Instead of C: \ >. By using this above commands you can fool the Newbies that you have created you own command prompt.
