Lock your folder without using 3rd party softwares

You can lock your folder with out using any third party applications and can also make it pasword protected.

Here is the trick…

1. Open up a notepad.

2. Copy and paste the following code.

@ECHO OFF
cd\
cls
color 0a
Title Folder Locker
if EXIST “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}” goto UNLOCK
if NOT EXIST Locker goto MDLOCKER
:CONFIRM
echo Are you sure u want to Lock the folder(Y/N)
set/p “cho=>”
if %cho%==Y goto LOCK
if %cho%==y goto LOCK
if %cho%==n goto END
if %cho%==N goto END
echo Invalid choice.
goto CONFIRM
:LOCK
ren Locker “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}”
attrib +h +s “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}”
echo Folder locked
goto End
:UNLOCK
echo Enter password to Unlock folder
set/p “pass=>”
admin
if NOT %pass%== secret goto FAIL
attrib -h -s “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}”
ren “Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}” Locker
echo Folder Unlocked successfully
goto End
:FAIL
echo Invalid password
goto end
:MDLOCKER
md Private
echo Locker created successfully
goto End

3. Save it with the extension .bat.

4. Execute the file.

5. Once you execute the file, then a folder named ‘private’ will be created by itself.

6. Now you can put all the stuffs, you wanna make them private inside the ‘private’ folder.

7. Go ahead and execute the batch file again, then it will prompt you
“Are you sure u want to Lock the folder(Y/N)”, here press Y and hit enter.

8. Then the folder will become invisible.

9. To set a password for that folder, now you can execute the same batch file again, then it will prompt you “Enter password to Unlock folder”, now you can enter the password as ‘secret’ to unlock the folder.

10. you can set your password by editing the code, where it says ‘secret’.
